Yara Alsiddig

Yara AlSiddig is a renewable energy professional and sustainability strategist with a background in engineering, entrepreneurship, and inclusive development. She co-founded Amcell Energy to drive the clean and green energy transition for marginalized and vulnerable communities through innovative, scalable technologies.

Yara is an Electrical Power and Energy Engineer from Princess Sumaya University for Technology and has contributed to renewable energy initiatives with the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA). Her experience bridges policy, research, innovation, green finance and the practical implementation of sustainable energy solutions.

At Amcell Energy, Yara leads on technology development and system design, as well as strategic collaboration, product innovation, and stakeholders engagement. She works at the intersection of engineering and strategy guiding the development of clean energy technologies, operational frameworks, and collaborative initiatives that accelerate equitable energy access and climate resilience.
